Windows XP Trick 2:

If you do not want to use your recycle bin for storing or deleting files, then you can follow this trick to delete the recycle bin from your desktop. To do this, at first run the regedit and go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/explorer/Desktop/NameSpace. Now, simply click on the ‘recycle bin’ string on the right hand pane, choose the ‘Delete’ option and finally click on the ‘OK’ button.

Windows XP Trick 3:

Using this trick, you can able to change the name of your ‘Recycle Bin’, just open regedit and then go to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID/{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}. After that rename the Recycle Bin to whatever you want.

(Note: do not use any quotations while renaming your ‘Recycle Bin’)
